This artwork by Zdeněk Sýkora achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November this year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work The Lines Album(i) One Line (ii) Trio Hiršal (iii) Quintet sold for EUR 13,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zdeněk Sýkora achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Linien Nr. 31 in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 1,052,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zdeněk Sýkora erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit The Lines Album(i) One Line (ii) Trio Hiršal (iii) Quintet für EUR 13.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zdeněk Sýkora erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Linien Nr. 31 im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.052.000,00.
