Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Women by Zaw Zaw Aung was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,111.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 16,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Zaw Zaw Aung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2019 the work Monk And Helper was auctioned for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,134.30).
