Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zarina was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,913.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zarina achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tasbih (Gold) in March last year with an auction result of USD 365,400.00 (€ 329,396.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zarina kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.913,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zarina erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tasbih (Gold) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 365.400,00 (€ 329.396,92).
