Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Madonna And Child With Saints Catherine Or Mary Magdalene, Roch Or John, Michael And Two Bishop Saints by Zanobi Rosi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,174.23). Admittedly, works by Zanobi Rosi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vision Of The Centurion Cornelius in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,358.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With Saints Catherine Or Mary Magdalene, Roch Or John, Michael And Two Bishop Saints von Zanobi Rosi im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.174,23) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zanobi Rosi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vision Of The Centurion Cornelius im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.358,72).
