In March 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Art 1950 to present, which included the work La Main De Sarkis Brûle En Aquarelle (Eau Froide) - 1999 by Zabunyan Sarkis. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,200.00 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zabunyan Sarkis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kriegsschatz Leidschatz - 1990 in September 2016 with an auction result of EUR 41,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Main De Sarkis Brûle En Aquarelle (Eau Froide) - 1999 von Zabunyan Sarkis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.200,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zabunyan Sarkis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kriegsschatz Leidschatz - 1990 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.600,00.
