This work of art by Yvette Achkar could be acquired at Christies in Dubai in May 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the International Modern & Contemporary Art at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,480.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvette Achkar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 111,328.82).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yvette Achkar konnte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Dubai für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion International Modern & Contemporary Art at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.480,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvette Achkar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 111.328,82).
