Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Barges on the river, early morning by Yuriy Priyadko. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 437.50 (€ 492.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuriy Priyadko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,245.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barges on the river, early morning von Yuriy Priyadko zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 437,50 (€ 492,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuriy Priyadko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.245,96) versteigert wurde.
