Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boite III, 1992 by Yuri Kuper was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 893.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Kuper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,877.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boite III, 1992 von Yuri Kuper kam im Juli 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 893,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuri Kuper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.877,21).
