A top price for Juri Ilich Repin - as previously expected
The work The Bay Horse by Juri Ilich Repin was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 44,051.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Bay Horse is the most expensive artwork by Juri Ilich Repin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Bay Horse von Juri Ilich Repin wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
