Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yu Liqun could be acquired at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Calligraphy In Running Script changed hands for HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,389.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Yu Liqun have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April this year by the work Calligraphic Couplets at HKD 6,000.00 (€ 6,127.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Liqun konnte im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wechselte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script für HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.389,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yu Liqun wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets mit HKD 6.000,00 (€ 6.127,17).
