Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Peonies in the Palace Garden by Yu Fei'An for HKD 478,800.00 (€ 57,377.23). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Fei'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paradise Flycatchers By Magnolia in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 15,720,000.00 (€ 1,770,095.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peonies in the Palace Garden von Yu Fei'An für HKD 478.800,00 (€ 57.377,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Fei'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paradise Flycatchers By Magnolia im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.720.000,00 (€ 1.770.095,31).
