A top price for Yozo Ukita - as previously expected
This work without title by Yozo Ukita was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,501.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Yozo Ukita that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yozo Ukita wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.501,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yozo Ukita, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
