Auction result well in line with expectations

In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Asian Art including Chinese and Japanese Export, which included the work Unknown by Yoshio Markino. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 659.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoshio Markino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unknown in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,598.24).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Asian Art including Chinese and Japanese Export durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Yoshio Markino zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 659,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoshio Markino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.598,24).
