It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,561.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiro Yoshihara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 4,880,000.00 (€ 570,114.11).

Die Arbeit Work (Four Ap Works) von Jiro Yoshihara kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.561,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiro Yoshihara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.880.000,00 (€ 570.114,11).
