Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2001 Christies in New York held the auction THE FALK COLLECTION II: CHINESE AND JAPANESE WORKS OF ART, which included the work Broom and handscroll (Kanzan and Jittoku) by Yosa Buson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,462.50 (€ 7,186.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yosa Buson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Landscapes and Figures in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,063.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE FALK COLLECTION II: CHINESE AND JAPANESE WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Broom and handscroll (Kanzan and Jittoku) von Yosa Buson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.462,50 (€ 7.186,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yosa Buson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Landscapes and Figures im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.063,06).
