Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Bouquet Devant L'Océan by Yolande Ardissone was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,799.79). Admittedly, works by Yolande Ardissone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Nymphéas De Monet in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,711.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Bouquet Devant L'Océan von Yolande Ardissone im August 2013 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.799,79) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yolande Ardissone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Nymphéas De Monet im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.711,01).
