Despite a disappointment, a good price for Ying Sun
When the work Union Square, San Francisco sight 14 1/2 x 21in framed 22 x 28in by Ying Sun was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 500.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 204.80 (€ 187.75). Despite this disappointing result, Union Square, San Francisco sight 14 1/2 x 21in framed 22 x 28in is the most expensive artwork by Ying Sun that we have observed at auction so far.
