Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yin Xiliang could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Works of Art Online auction, the work Horses changed hands for USD 956.25 (€ 847.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yin Xiliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 230,000.00 (€ 22,897.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yin Xiliang konnte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Works of Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Horses für USD 956,25 (€ 847,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yin Xiliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 230.000,00 (€ 22.897,05).
