Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hommage à Lord Byron by Jannis Psychopedis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 6,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jannis Psychopedis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Seated Nude in May 2009 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 42,613.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hommage à Lord Byron von Jannis Psychopedis wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jannis Psychopedis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Seated Nude im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 42.613,62).
