It achieved a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,456.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Jannis Psychopedis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Seated Nude in May 2009 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 42,613.62).

Die Arbeit Greek the City At Night von Jannis Psychopedis kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.456,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jannis Psychopedis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Seated Nude im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 42.613,62).
