Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek English Breakfast No. 14 by Jannis Psychopedis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,801.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jannis Psychopedis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Seated Nude in May 2009 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 42,613.62).
