The work Ecosystem, Series 13 by Yeh Chu-Sheng was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 45,537.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 75%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yeh Chu-Sheng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Seed + 18F sold at auction in April 2009 with the realized price of HKD 716,000.00 (€ 69,740.26).

Die Arbeit Ecosystem, Series 13 von Yeh Chu-Sheng wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 45.537,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 75%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yeh Chu-Sheng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Seed + 18F im April 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 716.000,00 (€ 69.740,26).
