Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ye Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Fishing sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,012.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ye Yun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Appreciating Clouds, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 37,957.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ye Yun erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Fishing für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.012,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ye Yun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Appreciating Clouds beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 37.957,92) versteigert wurde.
