In September 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations, which included the work Opening island by Yasse Tabuchi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasse Tabuchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Terre Feu", which sold at auction in June 2020 for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,606.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im September 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Opening island von Yasse Tabuchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasse Tabuchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Terre Feu" beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.606,54) versteigert wurde.
