Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Fishing on the River by Yao Zhongbao. The price achieved of HKD 6,375.00 (€ 722.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yao Zhongbao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,493.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing on the River von Yao Zhongbao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.375,00 (€ 722,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yao Zhongbao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.493,65).
