This artwork by Yannis Maltezos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in November 2021. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Composition III sold for EUR 7,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yannis Maltezos; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Compositions sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).

In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Composition III für EUR 7.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yannis Maltezos; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Compositions im November 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
