Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yiannis Gaitis could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, this work without title changed hands for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yiannis Gaitis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Tourists At Cape Sounion in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 118,321.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yiannis Gaitis konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yiannis Gaitis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Tourists At Cape Sounion im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 118.321,86).
