A top price for Yang Chunhua - as previously expected
The work Guanyin by Yang Chunhua was sold in the The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 287,500.00 (€ 29,598.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Guanyin is the most expensive artwork by Yang Chunhua that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Guanyin von Yang Chunhua wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 287.500,00 (€ 29.598,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 300.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Guanyin das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yang Chunhua, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
