This artwork by Ya Ming achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Winter Landscape sold for HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,920.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ya Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 74,376.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ya Ming erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Winter Landscape für HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.920,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ya Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 74.376,35).
