Auction result misses estimated price range
In August last year a collector was able to acquire the work Ranging in the Spring of Jiangnan by Ya Ming for HKD 5,355.00 (€ 677.82). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale at Bonhams in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ya Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 74,376.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ranging in the Spring of Jiangnan von Ya Ming für HKD 5.355,00 (€ 677,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ya Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 74.376,35).
