Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mount Huang by Ya Ming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,320.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ya Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 74,376.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mount Huang von Ya Ming kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.320,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ya Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 74.376,35).
