Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Ya Ming. The price achieved of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 10,456.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ya Ming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 74,376.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Ya Ming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 10.456,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ya Ming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 74.376,35).
