Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure by Ya Ming was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ya Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 74,376.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure von Ya Ming kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ya Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 74.376,35).
