Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Guan Tong by Xu Fang. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,728.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Springs And Rocks At Mount Tianping in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 457,376.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Guan Tong von Xu Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.728,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Springs And Rocks At Mount Tianping im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 457.376,76).
