In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Song Verses in Running Script by Xu Chu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,894.91), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Xu Chu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,895.49) in March 2017 for the work Magpies, Plum Blossoms And Bamboo.

Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Song Verses in Running Script von Xu Chu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.894,91) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Xu Chu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.895,49) im März 2017 für die Arbeit Magpies, Plum Blossoms And Bamboo beobachtet.
