Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stroking Feathers(Painted In 2003) by Xiong Yu was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 14,511.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Xiong Yu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work Sad Boy was auctioned for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,429.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stroking Feathers(Painted In 2003) von Xiong Yu kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 14.511,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Xiong Yu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Sad Boy für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.429,74) versteigert.
