Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Farewell by Xing Baozhuang. The price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,936.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xing Baozhuang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drinking Beside The River in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 13,129.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farewell von Xing Baozhuang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.936,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xing Baozhuang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drinking Beside The River im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 13.129,77).
