Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Xie Wuliang. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,334.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Wuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphic Couplet in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 82,752.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xie Wuliang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.334,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Wuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 82.752,93).
