This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Xie Wuliang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphic Couplet in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 82,752.93).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Xie Wuliang war einem Käufer im April 2018 HKD 165.200,00 (€ 17.431,24) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Wuliang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 82.752,93).
