Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Xie Wuliang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Wuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphic Couplet in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 82,752.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Xie Wuliang kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Wuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 82.752,93).
