Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orchid, Bamboo, And Rocks by Xia Hui was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,355.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xia Hui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bamboo In The Wind in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 20,147.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orchid, Bamboo, And Rocks von Xia Hui kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.355,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xia Hui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bamboo In The Wind im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 20.147,36).
