A top price for Xia Hang
This artwork by Xia Hang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Warrior & Victory sold for HKD 487,500.00 (€ 40,134.16) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00. This high result makes Warrior & Victory the most expensive artwork by Xia Hang that we have observed at auctions so far.
