In May 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Bambina Con Fiocco Rosso by Xavier Bueno. The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xavier Bueno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bambina Con Fiocco Rosso von Xavier Bueno zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xavier Bueno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
