In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Panda by Wu Zuoren. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 156,000.00 (€ 19,990.74), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zuoren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Ocean in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 8,167,500.00 (€ 713,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panda von Wu Zuoren zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 156.000,00 (€ 19.990,74) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zuoren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Ocean im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.167.500,00 (€ 713.988,97).
