Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hermitages In Solitude by Wu Zheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 150,000 (€ 16,890) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 120,000 - 180,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 1,940,000 (€ 169,610).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hermitages In Solitude von Wu Zheng wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000 (€ 16.890) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000 – 180.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.940.000 (€ 169.610).
