Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Landscape by Wu Zheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500 (€ 4,349) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000 - 40,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 1,940,000 (€ 169,610).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Green Landscape von Wu Zheng wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500 (€ 4.349) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000 – 40.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.940.000 (€ 169.610).
