A top price for Wu Yi - as previously expected
The work Train by Wu Yi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 402,500.00 (€ 41,438.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Train is the most expensive artwork by Wu Yi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Train von Wu Yi kam im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 402.500,00 (€ 41.438,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Train das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Yi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
