Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Associations Of A Battery by Wu Tien-Chang was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,580.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Tien-Chang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Dream on a Spring's Night III in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 55,461.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Associations Of A Battery von Wu Tien-Chang wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.580,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Tien-Chang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Dream on a Spring's Night III im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 55.461,88).
