Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Guanzhong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Spring sold for HKD 570,000.00 (€ 69,364.79) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Guanzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Zhou Village in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 236,000,000.00 (€ 26,588,934.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Guanzhong erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Spring für HKD 570.000,00 (€ 69.364,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Guanzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Zhou Village im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 236.000.000,00 (€ 26.588.934,53).
