The work Surging Clouds Over Lofty Mountains by Wong Suetoa was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 68,193.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. This high result makes Surging Clouds Over Lofty Mountains the most expensive artwork by Wong Suetoa that we have observed at auctions so far.
